What Sports-Focused Care Looks Like at LHG

Sports care at Living Health Group starts with understanding your injury or concern alongside the demands of your sport. We consider your symptoms, movement, training loads and sporting goals as part of your assessment and management plan.

Where appropriate, we use VALD dynamometry to objectively measure strength and compare differences between sides. This information can help inform rehabilitation, exercise progression and return-to-sport planning alongside your clinical assessment.

Rehabilitation is tailored to your sport, training demands and goals. Where appropriate, hands-on treatment may form part of your care alongside strength, movement and exercise-based rehabilitation.

What is VALD strength testing?
VALD dynamometry allows us to objectively measure muscle strength and compare differences between sides. Where appropriate, we use this information alongside your clinical assessment to help inform rehabilitation, exercise progression and return-to-sport planning.
Do I need to be a serious athlete?
No. We work with people across a range of sports and activity levels, from recreational runners and gym-goers to competitive athletes. Your assessment and management plan are tailored to your sport, level of activity and individual goals.
