How can we help?

Mount Waverley clients see us for a wide range of musculoskeletal concerns. These are some of the most common reasons people book.

Back pain

Lower and upper back pain, including disc-related and work-related presentations.

Neck pain and headaches

Stiffness, reduced movement and some headache presentations associated with the neck.

Sporting injuries

Hamstring, calf, ankle, knee and shoulder injuries, and getting back to training.

Knee, hip and shoulder concerns

Joint pain, bursitis, tendon-related pain and rotator cuff presentations.

General aches and stiffness

The everyday discomfort that comes with busy lives, desk work and physical jobs.

Movement and strength concerns

Wanting to move better, build capacity or return to exercise with a structured plan.

Our services

Your care is shaped by what you need. Depending on your presentation and goals, this may include hands-on treatment, rehabilitation, strength testing or practical strategies to support you between appointments. Where appropriate, our practitioners can also work collaboratively across services.

Osteopathy

Assessment and hands-on care tailored to your symptoms, movement and goals, with a management plan built around your individual needs.

Myotherapy

Assessment and treatment of muscular pain and restriction, using hands-on techniques, dry needling where appropriate, and exercise.

Remedial Massage

Assessment-led remedial massage tailored to your symptoms, muscular tension, movement and individual goals.

Dry Needling

Used by our osteopaths and myotherapists where clinically appropriate, as part of an individualised management plan.

VALD Strength Testing

Objective strength testing using VALD technology to measure strength, monitor progress and help inform rehabilitation and return-to-activity decisions.

What to expect at your appointment

We do not jump straight to treatment. Care begins by understanding you and the factors contributing to your symptoms, so the management plan we build together is individual to you.

1

Discuss your concerns

We start with a conversation about what is going on, your history, your goals and what you want to get back to doing.

2

Assessment

A movement and physical assessment to understand the structures involved and the factors that may be contributing to your symptoms.

3

Individual management plan

We explain what we found and build a plan around your needs. Where appropriate, hands-on treatment may begin in the first appointment.

4

Next steps

Clear guidance on what happens next: rehabilitation, exercise, follow-up appointments or, where needed, referral to another practitioner.
