Adam has completed his double degree in Bachelor of Clinical Science and Masters of Health Science (Osteopathy) at Victoria University. Health, exercise, and rehab have always been an interest of his from a young age. He loves that Osteopathy treats the person and not just the signs and symptoms, as everyone has different goals and will need different forms of management and intervention. He believes that it is important to not only look at what’s causing the pain but to also assess and improve any functional restrictions that patients may have in their day to day activities.
Adam has a strong interest in treating all musculoskeletal complaints in people of all ages, whether it be from sports injury, desk worker or weekend warriors. He treats using a combination of massage, dry needling, manipulation, with a focus on rehab and exercises. He believes education on pain and what patients can do outside of treatment is a vital part of getting his patients back to their feet.
During his final year in university, Adam dedicated his time to Mullum Mullum Indigenous Gathering Place as part of clinical placement to provide healthcare and support for the community. The majority of patients were suffering from chronic pain and this gave Adam the opportunity to gain experience and the understanding in helping patients to improve their quality of life.
